If you have been into The Beacon recently you will not be surprised to learn that a few ‘setbacks' have delayed our promoted ‘Summer’ opening - however, everything is now really starting to take shape and we are pleased to announce that we will be opening now in the autumn in plenty of time for Christmas.

Our professional design and shop-fitting team have been on-site for the last three months and are now making great progress, so the end is now most definitely in sight! Because of the quality of the finishes and the complexity of the work (floors, ceilings, air-conditioning and lighting etc), the work has over-run slightly but we know that this will create a superb finish and that all the ‘headaches' will be worth...

Formed when a piece of sand, a parasite or other foreign body, such as mantle tissue, invades the mollusc shell. This can accrue naturally or with technical intervention when grown at a pearl farm, referred to as cultured pearls.

Due to the numerous variants relating to the growth of a pearl they are available in a large array of shapes, sizes and colours from white to black, and pink to yellow.
