The development of the Endurance Pro came from a conversation Breitling’s CEO Georges Kern had with Triathlon Squad member, Jan Frodeno. This lead Breitling to start brainstorming about the perfect sporty lifestyle watch. With this watch Kern explains, “We adapted our SuperQuartz™ technology to the needs of people like Jan who play as hard as they work. And the Breitlight® case is so light that it won’t interfere with anyone’s training routine or sporting activity.”

Breitling and Sport

The Endurance Pro takes Breitling’s Professional range of tool watches into the world of sports, in which they have a significant history.

Breitling has long offered watches with sports-friendly functions and the Endurance Pro carries on that proud legacy.

Inspired by the Breitling Sprint, a memorable watch from the 1970’s that combined pulsometer and was produced in dazzling 1970’s colours. The Sprint was the ideal timepiece for athletes who wanted to be able to monitor their heart rate. The Endurance is a modern evolution of this 1970’s design.

 A New Sporting Legend: The Endurance Pro

With five distinguished, bold colour options, each piece features a black dial and a black bidirectional rotating bezel with engraved cardinal compass points.

Each reference is designed with an inner bezel, which is marked with a useful pulsometer scale, in a choice of white, blue, yellow, orange, or red, making it easy for the user to keep track of their heart rate during sports sessions. The colour of the Diver Pro rubber strap, with Breitlight® double-pin buckle, corresponds with the coloured inner bezel ring. For a more diverse offering vibrant Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO straps that pair perfectly with this eye-catching chronograph can be purchased separately.

The watch also has a tactile moulded crown in the same colour as the strap and the inner bezel ring for excellent grip and manoeuvrability. At the heart of the Endurance Pro is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 82, whose SuperQuartz™ technology delivers exceptional precision.

The hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them legible even in limited lighting conditions. The chronograph second hand has a red pointer so it is easy to keep track of the elapsed time. Along with a small-second subdial, there are 1/10th second and 30-minute chronograph counters that have also been designed for easy reading.

The Breitling Endurance Pro is water-resistant to 10 bar/100 meters/330 feet and comes with a two-year warranty.
