Following on from a successful collaboration in 2020 with Queen guitarist Brian May, Seiko is proud to launch a new limited edition timepiece with the acclaimed guitarist.
Limited edition to just 12,500 pieces worldwide, the Seiko 5 Sports x Brian May "Red Special II" takes design cues inspired by the music iconic, with proceeds from the sale of the watch being donated to "The Mercury Phoenix Trust" founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and their manager Jim Beach in memory of Queen’s legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury.
Taking inspiration from Brian's "Red Special" guitar - represented in the watch's red dial - and latest remastered solo album "Gold Series" - showcased in the watch's gold tone accents - the new Seiko 5 Sports x Brian May watch also features a black and gold nylon strap, inspired by the guitar strings expertly played by May, and signature on the clear red caseback.
Presented in a special edition presentation box, along with a commemorative lucky Sixpence which Brian uses instead of a plectrum, the new Seiko 5 Sports x Brian May "Red Special II" watch is a must-have piece for watch collectors and music fans alike.
